Jesse worked with us as an intern on my team for the summer of 2021 as a Marketing Analyst. We have a rigorous interview process and have traditionally only hired University Seniors for this type of internship due to the myriad responsibilities that we ask from the role. I made an exception for Jesse and hired her after her sophomore year because she had done such a great job researching the company and what we do to support our client’s brand loyalty. Indeed, she was one of the most prepared interviewees that I have talked to in over 20 years. Before the internship, Jesse volunteered to take the self-guided analytic software training so she could maximize her time to work on as many projects as possible during the summer. When we came up with her plan for the summer, she wanted to learn not only the analytic aspects of marketing, but also support marketing strategy, marketing creative and how that tied into the larger customer loyalty vision that we support our clients. She was tasked with analyzing transactional, digital and call center behavior and produced executive level briefs on myriad of topics. One of her analysis on Covid destination patterns was so insightful that we created a client facing white paper and posted externally to the public. It was also used to inform a marketing campaigns for which destinations should be promoted. Ultimately, what most impressed me about Jesse was her intangible skills – her organizational skills, her ability to communicate on any medium and her willingness to learn. Jesse is self-motivated and works hard to ensure that deliverables are met on time. I highly recommend without reservation Jesse for any organization that wants a passionate, intelligent, analytic individual to help support their team and organizational success. Please DM on LinkedIn if you want any more insight or have any questions.
