  I provide legal and strategic advice to the ACCC in its investigations and legal proceedings against companies for alleged contraventions of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and Australian Consumer Law. I advise on misleading and deceptive conduct claims (eg ACCC v Reckitt Benckiser (Australia) Pty Ltd [2016] FCAFC 181; ACCC v Volkswagen Group (Australia) Pty Ltd), unfair contract terms (eg ACCC v CLA Trading Pty Ltd t/as Europcar [2016] FCA 377), unconscionable conduct claims, compliance with the Franchising Code of Conduct, compliance with consumer guarantees, product safety issues, and contempt proceedings. I also advise on competition law matters including resale price maintenance (ACCC v Omniblend Australia Pty Ltd [2015] FCA 871), exclusive dealing, cartel conduct and misuse of market power.
