The WELLer Network is an organisation that is dedicated to educating young New Zealanders about the awareness of cancer. Our vision is to reduce the late detection of breast cancer and other cancers in the future. Our mission is to connect with young New Zealanders in order to develop, establish and implement cancer education programs starting in high schools - starting with a breast health focus for young women in girls high schools in 2017. Our future focus is to ensure that if the need arises young people are able advocate for thier own health and reach out to a medical professional. It is also to encourage self examination that will eventually lead to enrollment in government funded screening programs at the appropriate age. We are The WELLer Network- supporting healthy conversations that could save your life. The WELLer Network was build through the social entrepreneurship accelerator Live the Dream - a program facilitated by The Inspiring Stories Trust. Show less
