As part of the Grad Dip in Education through the University of Queensland I undertook a 7 week practicum at Windaroo Valley SHS, where I taught a variety of classes in business and hospitality. Through my classes in business I gained experience teaching tourism, marketing, legal studies and a vocational education program. The hospitality classes I taught through Windaroo’s Futures with Food program allowed me to teach a range of classes in a practical setting. Through this practicum I attained very positive results from both my supervising teacher and the University of Queensland practicum facilitator. Show less
