      • Nov 2021 - Sep 2022

I commenced working for the Department of Child Protection and Family Services in November 2021. Since then I have worked extensively with numerous families and have built professional rapport with various clients most of whom have complex needs. My role as a family support officer required me to facilitate contact visits between children who are placed in foster care and their biological parents or other family members. During contact visits, it is my responsibility to model positive parenting and provide assistance where appropriate. After the contact visit, my role involves writing a detailed report on the contact, which could later be subpoenaed in court. Show less
