Jess was the event marketing leading supporting the US commercial team at 1plusX. Jess made the effort to understand our business/sales objectives so that she could make recommendations for how to best position the team at events to achieve those goals. She executed our presence at events flawlessly and advocated for the best speaking timeslots, etc., even though she was sitting on another continent. She also sought to understand the direct and indirect outcomes of our event strategy and then use that to adjust our future planning (vs. doing the same thing year after year). She is a great communicator, she is patient, she is open minded, has a great attitude, and is just overall someone me and the team really enjoy working with.

If Jess were a tool, she'd be a Swiss army knife. Rather than being great at one thing, she is a multi-functional powerhouse that you can use for any situation. I've had the pleasure (and still do) of working alongside her. Before 1plusX was acquired, we worked as a 2-(wo)man marketing team where we were able to run the whole department together. She's proactive, hardworking, and has a true team spirit. I'd like to highlight her eagle eye where it's not just about attention to detail but even seeing any possible issues or tasks to handle in the future. She works diligently and efficiently and I was able to witness first-hand how she organizes, creates, and carries out events she organizes which are nothing short of amazing. She gets along with everyone and has a bubbly personality that allows her to build great connections across the company. She leads our HubSpot efforts as well as our brand integration after being acquired by TripleLift. I could go on but overall, I'd say any team or company who can have her will have found a true, rare gem.
