President of Study Association
-
Jul 2016 - Jul 2017
Aperture is the official MSP study association. The goal of Aperture is to make the academic year as fun, interesting and educational as possible for the MSP students. Throughout the year, Aperture organizes a number of events, such as voluntary lectures, study trips, and board game nights. As the president of Aperture, I was in charge of day-to-day supervision and management of the board of the association. Next to this, I was responsible for the communication and representation of the association towards external parties, which left me with excellent professional communication skills. The budgeting and funding of the association were also part of my function, in close collaboration with the Aperture treasurer. Next to this, I was in charge of the organization of the study trip to Heidelberg. Visits to the various Max Planck Institutes in Heidelberg as well as the European Molecular Biology Laboratory were organized for this inter-disciplinary scientific study trip. Show less
