From July 2019- present Working in the HR Department. Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and daily HR tasks. From- 2008- present Responsible for preparing and overseeing bi-weekly Canadian payroll and monthly USA payroll (NY and California) Performing complex and specialized work related to the preparation, processing and maintenance of payroll duties including; overseeing and reviewing time sheets, entering hours, keeping track of vacation and sick time for all employees. Set up Garnishments, Child support orders, etc as directed by the courts. Overseeing payroll deductions, completing payroll adjustments, reconciling benefit accounts. Reviewing and finalizing Year End Procedures. Performed payroll auditing pre and post processing to ensure accuracy. Responsible for meeting with new hires, teaching them the software system to complete time sheets and discuss payroll and benefits. Maintaining billing and keeping up to date records for benefit providers. I am also one of the Company’s Workplace and Safety representative and am responsible for addressing employees concerns and keeping our workplace safe.
