  Took over a small engineering jobbing shop, Stainless Technology Ltd, from a previous business partnership and transformed it into a high-tech sheet metal company designing and innovating products for over 150 export focused customers. These included KFC, Air New Zealand, F&P, Exeloo, Rocklabs, Glidepath, and DC Short to name a few. STATEC was purchased in March 2012 as part of a group of engineering companies, and assisted the transition to new ownership. • Set up a new manufacturing facility, invested in world-first 3D laser metal cutting technology and eventually formed a stable team of highly skilled and trained culturally diverse staff of 25. • Produced year-on-year growth, from several hundred thousand dollars per annum to a multi-million turnover. • Responsible for monthly reporting, both financial and written, for internal and external use. • Designed and implemented policies and procedures to achieve internationally recognised supplier accreditation for KFC worldwide. • Set and practised high standards of integrity, ethics and behaviour in all operations of the business.   Designed and developed a world-first electronic water mixing valve with two business partners. Personally set up and ran Unique, the electronics development company while other partners ran Stainless Technology Limited. • Oversaw the successful development and sale of this patented IP valve technology to American Standard, the world’s largest tapware manufacturer. • IP rights were negotiated to continue developing a range of industrial valving in NZ. This company was sold in 2012 to a US owned valve company, and moved offshore. • Contributed significantly to doubling the company’s turnover from $500,000 to $1million per month while maintaining the same overall monthly factory labour hours, through implementing efficient and effective work practises. • Charged with implementing NZ’s 3rd ever ISO 9002 quality accreditation program for Dorf after extensive procedural reviews and system changes.
