I had the pleasure of working with Jerry at the Tarbell Management Group where I was the Director of Marketing and he was in charge or our Operations for our Convenience Store Division - Bear's Den. Jerry is a professional that excels at getting things done and leading the team. Jerry brought his in-depth knowledge of Category Management to help Bear's Den focus on product categories that were growing and provided solid profitability. He knows the business with a special insight into the consumer and helped us take advantage of trends to grow our business. This led to increasing market share in a down economy and growing profitability. Jerry's leadership was cooperative and inclusive. He developed the first training programs for our associates that were instrumental in changing & improving our culture. He worked with Marketing and our Creative teams to ensure our messaging to consumers was on target. Jerry developed the people reporting to him and around him to make the entire team stronger.
