Jerry and I worked together both directly and indirectly at Pioneer. I was hired in as a mechanical engineer, and he was the Lead Project Manager with responsibility for all active projects as well as coordinating field service on active cells. He was an effective matrix manager to the engineering department and a lead decision maker on all of the projects that I worked on. I also quickly learned he was a valuable resource in terms of company and project history, mechanical solutions, and any software issues I came across. As someone with in-depth experience with Inventor, he taught me several things further about the back end processes to set up resources for the rest of the company. He also displayed a certain finesse in working with customer challenges. We all know that sometimes what the customer asks for isn't what they have proved to actually need. Jerry was the one thrust into the difficult task of convincing them otherwise, mid-project nonetheless, and he excelled on multiple occasions I am aware of. His mentoring has helped to shape my viewpoint as an engineer, which has already proven useful in my career after Pioneer. He would be a valuable asset in many ways to any company.

Jerry is very professional and knowledgeable not only as a mechanical engineer, but also as an Autodesk Inventor user. He's been around long enough to know AutoLISP as well as newer software technologies, and knows how to leverage the capabilities of the tools used in machine engineering. I enjoyed working with Jerry and would welcome the chance to do so again.
