  I found a job as a carpenter working at a development being built across from my childhood home, this was the first taste of work I had in my life. My grandfather taught me the basic of carpentry as a boy but that summer started my life in construction and jump started my hard work ethic. I left this job at after building five duplexes to basic training to learn life isn't full of rainbows and participation trophies.
