Work with college age students from the University of Texas at Tyler, Tyler Junior College, and Texas College to help them grow into the men and women God has for them to be. Consistent weekly attendance of 80+, with over 300+ unique attendees throughout the Fall semester of 2022.Developed a year long internship program to bring up the next generation of ministry leaders from within our local church. Successfully graduated our two classes of leaders, currently training the third.

Built an economic development program from the ground up, crafting a comprehensive development strategy, building stakeholder consensus, and gaining community buy-in. Secured a $1.06 million Texas Leverage Fund loan from the Economic Development Bank of Texas to fund capital improvements in the city’s prime economic development corridor. Attracted a new manufacturer/distributor that created 20+ primary jobs and millions in capital investment, along with multiple retail businesses that bolstered retail tax revenue (+36% in 2012 & 2013). Project manager on a $600,000 industrial road construction venture, handling bid preparation and selection, surveying, property owner agreements, utility relocation, and engineering consults. Established a comprehensive marketing strategy, working with various communities in the East Texas I-20 Corridor Consortium, exhibiting at trade shows, and creating all essential marketing pieces. Spearheaded a community web development project that consolidated the Van Economic Development Corporation, Van Chamber of Commerce, and City of Van into a singular web presence, writing all content and providing sole guidance to our web design partner.
