In this role, I had diverse responsibilities including acting as a spokesperson for the group, representing the organisation, serving as chairperson and leading and facilitating meetings of the organisation. I liaised with member councils, State Government agencies and key stakeholders, bringing together different organisations towards a common goal of making the Parramatta River swimmable by 2025. The PRCG is a group of councils, State government agencies and community groups who share the common purpose to make the Parramatta River a living river. Our vision is to transform the Parramatta River and its tributaries into living waterways, so we can all benefit from what they have to offer. A healthy river and tributaries reflects a healthy community, so let’s help the Parramatta River thrive.
