  As an international tax advisor, for many years I have led institutional investor and investment managers through complex withholding tax recovery procedures across the globe, including (but not limited to) "ECJ reclaims". In 2016 I founded TAXOLOGY. TAXOLOGY is a global withholding tax recovery service provider. Our clients are institutional investors, such as pension funds, investment managers, insurance companies, charities and sovereign wealth funds. With our proprietary cloud platform Protocol we monitor and manage our clients’ custodian withholding tax service on the global public equities and fixed income investment portfolios. We also recover any withholding tax that falls outside the scope of the custodian’s withholding tax service. From collecting and validating data and documentation, to preparing, filing and following up on reclaims until paid. We do not replace or compete with our clients’ custodian. We simply ensure that our clients are getting their custodian withholding tax service executed effectively and efficiently, and we recover any withholding tax the custodian leaves on the table. With our Protocol platform and our global reach of withholding tax services, our clients can be confident they are getting the best withholding tax rates applied to their global investment portfolio at all times, while having direct insight in results and controlling risks, through clear and easily auditable processes.
