I've only had the chance to work with Jeroen for about half a year, but during that time I noticed a few things everyone should know about him. The quality of his code is great, but to me, that wasn't wat made me appreciate him. Jeroen, though not the most chatty person, was never afraid to challenge how our team, that had been working together for quite a while, worked. He never judged, he was just curious to the why, and more than happy to give suggestions, where we didn't see any. He also was eager to work, and whenever he had a bit of time in left next to working on his bigger project, he stood at my virtual door, knocking for work. Not that he was an easy customer though, he'd need to understand the value of what he worked on. But I don't know any good developers that function otherwise. It was great to have you Jeroen, may our paths cross again!
