I am a employee of Aerotek assigned to a client in Warren, MI. the client's company name is Niagara LaSalle Corporation. I perform overhead crane operations. When a machine is done processing a bundle of steel bars that weighs 2 to 3 tons I place lifting straps around the appropriate spots on the bundle to make sure it is leveled correctly before I lift it into the air to make sure it doesn't rock and the steel does not slide out. My job also includes banding bundles together upon completion of the whole process and loading them onto trucks as well. Show less

      • Apr 2014 - Jun 2014

I obtained a D.B.A. (Doing Business As) and started my on business in the middle of April called curb appeal. I have different sizes of stencil and fonts. I painted addresses on curbs for people who would like this service done of any style of numbers that they desired also with reflector gloss so when the light hit the address at night it will be clearly visible. I believe that this would help with finding addresses at night as far as Law Enforcement, EMS services, pizza deliveries etc... I receive a print from my assembly team leader. I follow the specific dimensions on the print and have a research team confirm it, to make sure everything is accurate. Assemble the harness and assisted quality control personnel with making sure harnesses are conformed to be shipped to our customers. I performed these tasks until I was awarded to be hired in to Terminal Supply Company after my 90 day probationary period. I receive a print from my assembly team leader. • Sep 2002 - May 2005

I measured thin pieces of sheet metal and if necessary I would cut them down to their required size & inspect the edge to make sure there were no dents or nicks to avoid scrap issues. Upon complete that task I would then load 2 pieces of metal into a blank welding machine making sure the laser is lined up correctly for welding the pieces together. Finally the sheet is pulled out of the machine and the weld is inspected and passed. On the assembly line a team of 3 of us were responsible for the installation of the Instrument Panel (Dashboard) in the Trim Department. My duty specifically was when the Instrument Panel was entered into the car on a hoist I was to secure it in place then install top screws using an air power tool. I also opened the ignition key assembly placing it down by the gas petal.
