  I worked with the Zonal Quality Lab (South) of the Delhi Jal Board which is located at Okhla, where i was entrusted with the work of water quality monitoring,surveillance,routine sampling and performed analysis with the samples of supply water so collected at field to ensure its potability.Collected fresh supply water samples from households,offices,schools,water tankers,eatery's etc on routine basis to ensure supply of safe and pristine water to the consumers around the Field Area( South Delhi).Quality analysis involves both Chemical and Microbiological Tests.These tests assures conformity with the International standards.As far as quality is concerned the microbiological work has greater relevance because any microbiological contamination is non-tolerableAdditionally the work also involved attending complaints in case of supply water contamination. Performing the tests produces reliable results with which any contamination becomes evident.Further reporting to concerned departments for rectification to ensure safety at consumer end. Show less
