  'Filipiñana' is written and directed by Rafael Manuel. It explores themes of exploitation and marginalization within hierarchical structures. The film uses the golf course/country club setting as a microcosm for Philippine society. And focuses on the power distance exercised by women on women within this social milieu. I oversaw the film production, from pre-production, principal photography, and post-production.
