  At Rally, I developed microservice programs in Scala using the Play framework. These applications served thousands of users per minute, and had millions of unique visitors a month. I designed APIs that speed up user facing application load times by up to 80% in Scala using functional paradigms. Along with instrumenting several services full of live monitoring metrics using Datadog, which helped decrease service downtime by increasing system observability. I managed production deploys and would work on-call rotations. I maintained and implemented multiple Jenkins pipelines to aid my teammates in moving towards a swift and ad-hoc release schedule along with easing the pains of creating development environments.
