Mission Statement Edify’s mission is to improve and expand sustainable, Christ-centered education globally. The Need Hundreds of millions of children in the developing world have either no school available to them or only a dysfunctional public school available. Research shows that low-fee, independent schools provide much better student learning outcomes. Our Work Edify was founded in September 2009. We identify privately owned Christ-centered schools, which provide solid education for children in their poor communities in a sustainable way. We operate in: Burkina Faso, Dominican Republic, Ghana, Guatemala, Liberia, Peru and Rwanda. We then support these schools by offering these four elements that, we believe, bring about the best transformation in our partner schools: • Capital in the form of loans to improve and expand schools • Training for the school proprietors to run their schools effectively • Christ-centered curriculum accompanied with training for the teachers • Teaching English, through education technology platforms when possible These schools charge monthly tuition fees to cover operating costs and pay the debt service on the loan used for school improvements and expansion. Once the original capital outlay has been repaid, it will be lent again to improve and expand additional schools. Schools around the world receive funding, create jobs and add long-term economic, social and spiritual value to their communities. Show less

501c(3) non-profit that seeks to prevent child trafficking and poverty by providing micro-enterprise loans, self-sustainability projects, and child sponsorship. Emphasis on creating/reviewing/analyzing business plans from third-world countries with a focus on self-sustainability. Management of multiple countries in east Africa. Led teams of business people to projects globally with a concentration on high net-worth families. Vision Statement: It is our passion to protect children from the evils of human trafficking, poverty and abandonment as overwhelmingly mandated in the Bible. Mission Statement: Forgotten Children Worldwide seeks to intentionally and wholeheartedly serve as an advocate for orphans and vulnerable children—protecting them from becoming victims of child trafficking and extreme poverty. It is our supreme goal to introduce them to the One true God, Jesus Christ because billions do not yet know His name. We strive to empower the disempowered through the strategic use of self-sustainability projects, child sponsorships, micro-finance projects, clothing distribution, orphan home construction , and clean water while partnering with trusted transnational believers.
