As part of a larger Agile project I was solely responsible for successfully delivering a major program of updates to the main in-house tool for maintaining the register of charities for England and Wales. This tool is an aspx Web Forms website written in Object Orientated VB.NET with T-SQL stored procedures. I was the only .net developer and there was no existing understanding of the software in the organisation. My principle achievements include:• Understanding the software design patterns, including the proprietary entity framework, with no assistance and honouring these patterns in my developments.• Delivering detailed changes from very high level specification, liaising with client’s staff to determine the full requirements.• Meeting and frequently exceeding timescales.• Three contract extensions and a very high level of customer satisfaction.
