  Safely worked underground for site preparation for penstock seismic upgrade. Cut and chipped out square footings from a round concrete tunnel and cored holes in preparation for installation of ring girders. Built overhead rail system to fly ring girder parts to face of tunnel, installed bolted and torque ring girders. Designed and installed a zip line inside of tunnel for removal of unwanted debris Spill gate rebuild (seal and bearing replacement). Removed left, right and bottom of old seal on spill gate. Responsible for relocating and installation of new seal system aligned adjusted and tested. Removed old bearings from spill gate arms and installed new bearings. Grooved 8" stainless steel pipe and installed for cooling electric hydro generators, installed new control valves for radiator flow control. (4 units) Did vacation relief for generation millwrights for a summer. Work including preventative and overhaul maintenance of cooling systems and electric generators. Changed oils on units and lift pumps. Traveled around BC to do various construction projects like; replacing old drinking water system and installed new water filtration system.

Looked after the North Okanagan Regional water supply in various locations throughout the city of Vernon under the supervision of Aberdeen Electric Maintained or replaced chlorine metering pumps. Recorded hrs and data throughout the city of Vernon and district.; Safely maintained veneer dryers replacing bushings, rollers, sprockets and transfer chains. Trouble shoot pneumatic clutches for in feed and out feed of dryers. Replaced old drive chains for the debarking conveyor. Changed chipper knives. Worked on a shutdown specifically replacing old press plates with a new style. Replaced bad bearings and rollers on various conveyors, also shortened over stretched conveyor belts and reattached with new alligator clips. Various maintenance on plywood mill machinery. Made myself available for call out.
