2014-present: Quality Group Team Leader 2006-2014: CCR (Body Fit) Team Member As a Team Leader in Quality at Toyota I manage a team of highly trained individuals who are directly responsible for the overall quality of America's #1 selling car for 13 straight years. My responsibility include, but are not limited to training, change point management, kaizen of processes to improve them to make them more efficient or make improvements on top of the good quality that is being produced. Conversely I am also responsible for the leveling up of under performing processes. My team is a direct reflection of my leadership and coaching ability and I take their performance as seriously as I do my own. Prior to becoming a Team Leader I was a Team Member in CCR. There I was directly responsible for the appearance of the vehicle. I used sensory skills that I developed to detect discrepancies in Gap & Levelness between body panels. Then I set them within tenths of millimeters to ensue proper fit and visual appeal. I was also responsible for many offline repairs that included welding, body prep, replacing bolts, studs, or nuts and tracking of defects to the appropriate shop for countermeasures. Show less
