Jeremy is a rare leader. But, rather than frame his management style in terms of leadership, he inverts the paradigm to concentrate on ‘followership’. In doing so, he demonstrates a remarkable ability to effect culture change at the most fundamental level within a team. I had the good fortune to be led by (or follow!) Jeremy between May 2013 and September 2014. In addition to his drive and creativity, what I found most impressive was Jeremy’s ability to incorporate the ideas of team members into strategic planning. These traits ensured that the team was motivated and inspired to perform at a historically unprecedented level, while forging new and durable relations with stakeholders from across the spectrum. Jeremy should be considered for roles where imagination, empathy and determination – along with the need to lead change within teams – are considered essential.
