I had the pleasure of working alongside Jeremy when we were both city managers with King of Pops. Jeremy has a fantastic attitude and style of communicating that's fun, and easy to work with. He treated everyone with respect and kindness, and always was a team player. I learned a lot from his leadership style and creativity which I was able to take lessons from and implement into my own market. He was loved and respected by both his staff and colleagues alike. I highly recommend working with Jeremy in any position of leadership to have someone who is growth minded, collaborative, takes initiative and ownership, and can create and execute impactful change within an organization.

Jeremy is unique in his ability to combine an entrepreneurial mindset to any and every project or company he is apart of. Couple that with hard work and great vision and it's one of the many reasons he's been so successful. Jeremy is intentional about creating relationships. He doesn't network just to collect business cards and names on a board, but relationships. Every thing he participates in, he goes all in and leaves a mark. Any company, board, or community project initiative would be better off for including him in their organization.

I meet and work with many professional contacts, but only few leave indelible marks, and one of them is Jeremy Elrod. Jeremy expertly filled the roll of Board President during the years we worked together on the Travelers Rest Farmers Market - Not only was he extremely hardworking, but he was a true leader and compassionate "people-person" on our team. I was impressed by Jeremy's ability to handle any situation calmly and patiently, even during hard years and stressful situations. Though I have rolled off of the board, I still consider Jeremy to be one of the most dedicated and hardworking professionals I've worked with. As a leader and person of integrity and character, Jeremy earns my highest recommendation and would be a valuable asset to any company.

SkillPop is a community-driven way for people to access in-person classes on a variety of subjects ranging anywhere from Public Speaking and Small Business Accounting to Photography Basics and Watercolor Painting. Our classes are taught by talented, local professionals with skills to share, and are held pop-up style in unique venues and spaces around the city. Was personally responsible for launching and manage all aspects of SkillPop operations within the cities of Greenville, South Carolina and Nashville, Tennessee. Within this role I directly oversaw all event planning, scheduling, marketing, sales and revenue growth. Generating creative ideas for in-person classes to offer in each community, while also recruiting local professionals within each city to teach each class and partnering with unique venues / spaces around each city to host pop-up style classes. Member of the 2018 Techstars Austin Startup Accelerator Program. Show less

At King of Pops we make hand-crafted, gourmet popsicles using fresh fruits and ingredients sourced largely from local farms and farmers markets in our area. Offering catering, wholesale and retail sales from our numerous mobile push-carts that can often be seen set up along Main Street, at local farmers markets or at numerous festivals and events across the southeast. Personally I've overseen Sales and Operations for King of Pops Athens, Greenville and Asheville. Implementing and managing key processes and personnel in order to properly handle daily operations of production, marketing, new business development and sales. Successfully starting, growing and managing profitable business operations in new markets through extensive market research, multi-unit management, budgeting and EOS processes. Show less

The Local Notion works to support the local, independently-owned businesses and non-profits that make the city of Athens, Georgia so unique. Customers owning a Local Notion card save money by receiving discounts, deals and incentives at over 80 local businesses (restaurants, shops, music venues, etc.) all over The Classic City for an entire calendar year. The Local Notion card works better than a "one-time-use" coupon, because it can be used repeatedly for an entire year to receive numerous discounts and deals - just show The Local Notion card at the time of purchase and get whatever each business is offering! We’re extremely passionate about what we do and have found that whether you’re trying out a place for the first time or are known as a regular patron, there’s a certain sense of satisfaction received from doing business locally.
