I work in the finance department of VR FleetCare, a subsidiary of VR Group.I participate in the ERP project as an Operating Model Manager, focusing on finance and reporting. I also did my Master's thesis on business profitability measurement. Result of my Master's thesis was KPIs that include capital requirements, characteristics of different business models and different management levels. My other responsibilities include developing Power BI reports, improving metering and other smaller parts of financial processes.

Thesis, improving quality documentation management processI worked on improvement of quality documentation management process – project as a member of four-person team and thesis writer at the same time in Andritz office in Varkaus. Project objectives were to increase customer satisfaction, create better quality documentation, reduce documentation handling time and costs. Lean Six Sigma ideologies were implemented to reach these goals (Example Value Stream Mapping). Project included working with subsidiary company, customers and subcontractors. One example of my input for the project was a cost estimation tool that calculated costs of two different options.The thesis was written in English and received a grade four.I learnt how to use Lean Six Sigma methods in process mapping and development, how to make process more efficiently by concentrating on process flow and making working easier for everyone. I also learnt how to spot weak and crucial points in the process and how to understand and track cause and effect relationships.

9/2016-1/2017CommissioningI continued working on Riikinvoima site, helping on commissioning. My responsibilities were towrite work permits for workers on the site, take samples, send samples for analyzation and keep track of sample results, keep track of waste treatment disturbances and output results.Everyday was different and new smaller tasks came up fast daily.I learned a lot about boiler technologies and problem solving from commissioning technicians. I also learnt how to handle several quickly acting tasks at the same time and how to work flexible.5/2016-8/2016HSE and quality documentation workI worked on Riikinvoima site (turnkey project, municipal solid waste, CFB boiler, 84 bar(g), 500 °C, 54 MWth) where I had several HSE tasks and helped on erection quality documentation. For example HSE tasks included helping on weekly HSE inspection tours and reports and observe site safety. Quality documentation work included keeping track of documentation progress and solving minor problems.I learnt about managing safety and risks, flexible working with big groups and basics of power plant erection documentation.

My main responsibility was to operate the causticizing plant with lime sludge reburning kiln. I also took several samples and analyzed the burnt lime samples. When needed I did some light maintenance and repairing works.I learnt the causticizing process and how it connects to the recovery boiler and evaporation plant and how changes in one section affects the others. Key concepts were circulation of chemicals and how to prevent problems in the process.

I worked occasionally in a ship loading. My work was to be a field worker when loading industrial wood, pulp and logs. Work insisted seamless working between field workers, tractor and crane drivers.

I worked in a Berner Pultti as a summer trainee in 2010, 2011 and 2012. Every year I also worked as a inventory worker for a week.My responsibilities were to gather and receive deliveries, organize and sell products in the shop.I learned a lot about taking care with organizing and working with customers.
