I have worked with Jer for a couple of months now and just wanted to flag the incredible work that Jer has done and continues to do with his high performance team at Radix. It's not often that one gets to work with someone that has two unicorns under their belt, has an incredible propensity for telling stories and understands the high/low cyclical start-up life cycle better than anyone. But despite his decades of experience Jer always wants to learn, to go further and has an uncanny way of seeing right through people, to their authentic selfs, which can be unnerving at the best of times but he creates a safe space for people to flourish and shine, which is invaluable. Jer set up a session today on Make Meaningful Work for the benefit of his team, which focused on the often overlooked softer skills, that lie beneath the surface and are intertwined with the three pillars of character, leadership and culture. KPIs, outputs, transactions... are more often than not the focus, however, if you dig deeper to the softer skills you'll more than likely make a high performance team even more effective. So I just wanted to thank Jer for always making such an effort to take things to the next level.
