      Eastern Margins is a music platform based in London which primarily platforms East and South East Asian artists. We are a music label, run events both physically and digitally and have a residency at NTS Radio. My main responsibilities are A&R, managing our community, assisting with curating events, organising our NTS Radio residency, artist liaison and management, administrative tasks, copywriting, social media strategy, networking, talent scouting, events coordinating, hosting shows/streams, grant writing and enforcing our Safe(r) Space Policy. My work with our Safe(r) Space Policy is vital to the current issues within the nightlife industry. I am extremely passionate about dance floor safety so that marginalised people do not face discrimination when they are at a music event. I often speak with venue managers, patrons, security and artists in order to enforce our Policy and regularly practice conflict resolution. I have used my knowledge from this work to also run panel talks and discussions to better educate the music industry. Eastern Margins has now also launched a digital platform with an editorial component in which I am Editor-in-Chief. With this role I manage publications, liaise with journalists, write, edit and am the Creative Lead.
