In this twelve-week clinical, I worked with patients with a wide variety of diagnoses in a state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation setting. Diagnoses included but were not limited to stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, cardiovascular diseases, and orthopaedic injuries. I performed an inservice at this clinical site comparing three varieties of body weight supported training robotics and their effect on self-selected gait speeds. I had the honor of playing cymbals on the Chiefs Drumline for the 2019-2020 season! This was such a fun experience and I absolutely loved performing for my hometown in Arrowhead stadium on gamedays! During my clinical rotation at the Olathe Medical Center outpatient facility in Gardner, Kansas, I had the opportunity to work with many different types of patients. I was able to assist patients recover from total joint replacements, dislocations, and injuries, as well as conductive preventative strengthening sessions for older adults.
