I am a working member of the approved INEOS graduate scheme and working towards Chartered status with the IET. I aim to bring my knowledge from my Masters Degree and my experience gained from working at INEOS over the last 5 years in my previous role to become a more rounded Asset Engineer. Working experience within Power Station/Utilities, Polymers Plant and Hydrocarbons Jetties Asset. Show less

Electrical Engineer of the Future

During my time as an INEOS Engineer of the Future I spent five years to achieve a high level of academic qualification, to Master Degree level and gain practical industry experience and skills. In my fifth year of the programme; I spent the first two years studying at Forth Valley College achieving a HND in Electrical Engineering as well as obtaining my Performance Engineering Operations Level 2. This also included working part time at INEOS Grangemouth in order to complete a Modern Apprenticeship and SVQ 3 in Electrical Process Engineering Maintenance During my Third and fourth year of the programme I studied full time at Heriot Watt University, after joining third year of the Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering course. Upon completion of the academic year the summer is undertaken working as a Trainee Engineer with the High Voltage Power Distribution team, before returning to University to complete the Master Degree in the final year. As part of my fifth year course I will be carrying out a six month industrial placement at INEOS Grangemouth which will allow me to complete my Masters of Engineering dissertation as part of my University studies.On completion of the programme I will have achieved a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, a Modern Apprenticeship (Electrical Process Engineering Maintenance) and gained a wide range of valuable engineering industry experience.
