      I started working at The Fairlawns Hotel as a Food and Beverage Assistant working my way up to a Supervisor before leaving for a short break in 2008. During my time working with the food and beverage team i was responsible for running functions including wedding celebrations, family parties, conferences and supervising up to 10 staff members at any one time. My role including supporting the managers throughout the hotel and dealing with any customer compliments and complaints. When starting my trainee manager contract in 2008 i worked mainly with the front of house team booking bedroom accommodation, looking after reception, dealing with any telephone enquiries, cashing up and providing a high standard of customer service which the hotel is renowned for. Whilst also continuing to support the management team in anyway required, I would provide show rounds of the hotel to any potential customers and help out in any area of the hotel needed during shortage of staff or over the busy Christmas period. I left the position in March 2010 after relocating to Coventry. Show less
