I am a Vermont business owner who, for the first time, decided to bring on an intern for a full-time summer position as an Administrator. I had never had a full-time employee, let alone an intern, and the opportunity to have Jenny on board was incredibly lucky! She was recommended to me by a professor from Champlain College, and I interviewed her via Skype while she completed her Junior term abroad. I have little-no experience in interviewing for administrative work, but Jenny's personality and professionalism "felt right" and I hired her on the spot (to start when she returned to Vermont). Hiring her was one of the best things I have EVER done for my business! If I had half of her maturity and reliability when I was in my early 20s, I'd probably be a lot farther in life. She settled into her role very quickly, balancing communications with my volunteers, part-time employees, and clients, as well as efficiently finding her way through the countless websites, Excel spreadsheets and Word documents that were critical to her administrative role. She set the bar very high for my next Administrator to take her place when she headed back to college. Should you be reading this review in consideration for her employment with your company, or in consideration of working with her in any way, there is no need to look any farther. Jenny is incredibly reliable, practical, kind and a joy to work with! Give her an opportunity to be herself and to ask questions and show her how important she is in her role, and she will go above and beyond for you! And when she graduates from school, you might be too late because I'd like to bring her back into my business when she's done with her degree. She's a diamond!
