I had the great pleasure of working with Jennye to help launch Fest300, the online guide to the world’s best festivals. Talented, driven and easy to work with, Jennye directed our editorial program and successful content across a variety of niche interests. She is both an excellent editor with an eye for detail as well as a strategic macro planner. We worked closely together to craft dynamic content for the right channels, particularly engaging our social media community with inspiring stories and compelling imagery. With 300 festivals around the world, Jennye served as a savvy curator, finding just the right material to stimulate our audience and create a loyal community.

Jennye Garibaldi has the eye of an expert editor and the smarts of an astute businessperson. I worked with her for 2 years as the founder of Fest300 (when she was Senior Editor and then Executive Editor) and am grateful for the commissioning, writing, editing and publishing of 300 festival listings that were the backbone and foundation of the site. In addition, she oversaw most of the editorial function associated with publishing hundreds of magazine articles about global festivals. In this scrappy, entrepreneurial start-up, Jennye had to build a team of nearly 50 freelance writers, photographers and graphic artists and hire, train, and manage two freelance editors. Her ample skill set was publicly honored when our site one the Silver in the 2014 Society of American Travel Awards for best travel website. In sum, Jennye proved to me that she could accomplish a lot with limited resources and she never shied away from giving me her expert editorial opinions.
