As an Office Manager for a non-profit agency I wear many hats. Here are some of my essential duties: -Greet any incoming visitors and provide any information they come in seeking. -Answer multi line phones and either find them their needed information or write down essential info for their intended parties. -Schedule meetings for my Executive Director or Program Coordinator. Which can including reaching out to those with whom they would like to meet with. -I maintain and keep track of our needed office supplies as well as researching and ordering anything needed for specific projects. -Keep track of our various in house services including housekeeping, pest control, water delivery, -Create and maintain information on our website keeping current with artist calls and any other events that are relevant to our intended audience. -I am in charge of our social media marketing which includes but is not limited to: -Creating graphics for web and print including but not limited to, ads, posts, email headers, logos, brochures, programs, t shirts, posters, and business cards for various events. -Maintaining our 3 pages on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and keeping them up to date with relevant information on each. We currently have over 10,000 followers between the 5. -Mailchimp for our bi-monthly "eblast" for Arthop as well as any other events we want to advertise for which includes research and designing ads for each of our 60+ participating venues. This goes out to a mailing list of around 3,000. -I am also in charge of a program we have called Arthop. I organize 60+ venues keeping track of their information, having them added to our venue maps, keeping updated on their monthly events, creating ads for our eblast, and then sharing the info on our various social media sites. As a shift supervisor I was in charge of cash drawer reconciliation, employee supervision, customer service, and maintaining general store ambiance organization and cleanliness. I completed web orders and did general ordering for the store as well as maintaining databases and layaway information. Because this is a metaphysical bookstore I had many encounters with customers in which I had to really listen to them to extract what it was they were looking for in the store in order to make recommendations. As a manager I was in charge of creating daily and weekly schedules for up to 13 employees. I did cash drawer reconciliation as well as placing change orders and maintaining the safe count. Customer service was always job one and that also started with keeping employee moral up. I would run a register when needed as well as using Tickemaster's system. I was also in charge of my own section where I handled ordering, conducted product pulls, handled cross merchandising, and kept up with section organization. Show less
