      Asciano was an ASX50 listed transport logistics company with 10 divisions and around 10,000 employees at peak operation. Sold in 2016 for $9.4bn to an international consortium, Asciano was ultimately separated out into Pacific National, LINX CargoCare and Patrick.I led the IT aspects of the separation of Asciano into 3 new businesses owned by 3 consortiums. 80% of this role was about stakeholder management, building productive relationships against a challenging commercial background and managing the impact of very significant change with internal teams. This separation was recognised by the lead consortium as the “smoothest and most well executed in their history of acquisitions”.Prior to the sale transaction, I led the creation of AGILE capability across Asciano 100 strong IT team and had commenced the extension of this capability into the Pacific National Coal business.
