My team is looking after the strategic customers of our company. We take over after the contract is signed with on-boarding and guide our customers through the implementation of our software. Once our customers are live we are their first point of contact for any questions related to our product: Timify - a powerful yet simple online booking tool. I took some time off to travel and try out a few ideas regarding potential new career options. You can read more about the things I tried in the "Volunteering" part of my profile. In Scotland we proactively accompanied strategic customers regarding their projects involving our business process automation software Adobe LiveCycle which was later replaced by AEM Forms. My takeaway from this job is that my skills will never fit a job descripiton 100% but I can always learn and I enjoy reaching that piont where I feel like an expert in my field. Back in Germany I worked in a small software company where I had a much broader range of responsibilities than in the international corporation before. I took care of a software product for trading supervision departments and enjoyed the mix of technical end administrative tasks. My first job after university took me to Ireland where I enjoyed putting my knowledge to practice in a team of 25 young professionals from all over Europe. We assisted employees of our company with their computer related issues. My takeaway from that time is how much I enjoy working with people, helping, explaing and being part of a team. I was also given sole responsibility for a specific software product that the company used for backups and I was proud to be the subject matter expert regarding this product. Show less
