Wiltshire Creative is an Arts Organisation that commissions, creates and presents work across all art forms. The Take Part programme at Wiltshire Creative uses the transformative power of the arts to positively impact the lives of our local community through participation, co-production, education or as an audience member. We provide inspiring, accessible, high quality and inclusive arts experiences for the people of Salisbury, Wiltshire and beyond regardless of the individual or social challenges they may face. Participatory activity takes place across our three venues/strands: Salisbury Playhouse, Salisbury Arts Centre and Salisbury International Arts Festival. The Take Part programme also takes us out into the community, in areas such as Tidworth and Bemerton Heath. We have a broad youth arts offer which includes our Further Education Performing Arts and Production Arts course, our Stage 65 Youth Theatre, our Wiltshire Creative Young Ambassadors and a creative learning programme with local schools. The role of Take Part Producer is vital in the planning and smooth running of projects, partner relations, facilitation, and administrative support for the department. In 2021 & 2022 a key project I have taken great pride in, is SHIFT, a project "amplifying the voices of young people through the arts" led by young SHIFT Associate Artists and Wiltshire Creative's Young Ambassadors.
