  Work with children through special education and also at-risk students pre-k through 7th grade. I currently run 10 social skills groups. Part of the child study team. Part of the IEP team. Coordinate with staff to put accommodations and modifications in place for students struggling academically and behaviorally. Work with staff on classroom management. Help support student needs with self regulation, calming strategies and positive interventions through behavior plans and positive reinforcement systems. Involved in collecting data and writing behavior intervention plans. Meet with students individually and provide counseling type services. Link parents and families with social service resources. Organize information and resources for a Christmas program in the district for needy families. Work with Administration when developing discipline guidelines for students.
