Build and maintain technical files for all selected items making certain that the technical file is up to date at all times. Work closely with the Buying Team and liaising with our supplier base, both in the UK and overseas, to assist with compliance queries; quality; packaging and labelling on all products to guarantee that they adhere to the required specification. Closely monitor the company returns rates, highlighting issues when found and recommending the correct course of action to promptly deal with each individual problem. Set up and review pre-shipment inspection reports to ensure acceptable quality limits are being achieved, and directing remedial action as and when required. QC check all catalogue pre-print artwork to ensure accuracy in product descriptions, and check that proposed advertising is compliant with current regulations. Manage the day to day running of the QC team and deal with all aspects of team development; problem solving; and personnel management. Liaise with outside agencies in a timely manner to produce paperwork required as a result of any legal; technical or advertising query. Interact directly with the Customer Service team; Web and Print production teams; Marketing and Warehouse teams to ensure swift resolution of any product/customer issues; complaint investigation and resolution.
