Trained and enrolled the local workforce in training programs designed to meet their specific needs and gain the skills they needed to obtain better jobs and higher wages. ----- PROJECTS ------ - Developed, designed, and implemented a pilot program for a Remote Work Experience (RWE) program for a total of 20 participants ages 16 and up residing in rural communities. - Facilitated virtual info sessions promoting the RWE program to perspective participants and partnering businesses to become worksites. - Coordinated and managed stakeholder relationships with participants, host worksites, and partnering organizations for the duration of program to ensure program and training needs were met for all parties. - Developed multiple wrap-around supports to ensure student success by creating virtual communities for students to interact and support each other. - Promoted 11 accessible digital jobs employment pathways with low barriers to entry for local job seekers in rural communities at local job fairs. - Hosted podcasts and pub talks on digital skilling initiatives to inform and educate community members on various digital jobs and employment pathways such as careers in IT or remote work pathways.
