For more than a decade as the executive director of the Hood Hargett Breakfast Club, I have been connecting Charlotte business leaders to one another and creating opportunities to make a real impact in the community. My success in sales, marketing, event planning and fundraising has helped build the Hood Hargett Breakfast Club into one of the premier business development and networking groups in Charlotte. I help develop and host over 40 events annually – many with prominent, nationally known speakers. The Hood Hargett Breakfast Club is a category exclusive business development organization that presents events throughout the year for its members and guests. The goal of these events is to provide success-minded business owners with first-class venues to entertain their clients and prospects. Considered one of the premier business development and networking groups in Charlotte, the Hood Hargett Breakfast Club attracts more than 300 business and civic leaders to each breakfast event. We bring in world-renowned speakers from all walks of life. The Hood Hargett Breakfast Club allows members to increase their business acumen and performance by attending quality programs, while developing deeper relationships with their peers, clients and prospects.

In 2010, I published my first book, "Don’t Change the Channel". The book came to light following my experience helping a family from my childhood hometown in Ohio and offers insight into how we are all capable of affecting change in the world even with hectic schedules. My website DontChangeTheChannel.com showcases the goodness of others and helps motivate and inspire people to take action. As a result of my book and philanthropic experiences, I have numerous opportunities to go around the country speaking to corporations, non-profits and philanthropic groups about charitable giving and the impact it has on people's lives.
