Major tasks that I was involved with included: -Materials research -Contact companies about materials, and determine suitability -Grant writing/ management -Collect user stories from warehouse employees, customer services, and engineers. -Learn about international shipping guidelines: IATA, Maritime -Learn about recycling and post consumer waste management in Europe -Schedule meetings between companies, mentors, and team members. -Biweekly and quarterly project reports -Public outreach about projects -Give presentation to other local professionals -Creation of powerpoint presentations and poster for public outreach and presentation events -Learn about the design process -Draft design ideas for new crate design -Build scaled down models of crate design
