Jennifer is a wicked smart innovator who excels with very little direct oversight. She is driven to find a creative angle to make any task or public facing happening more unique and impactful, and is sagely selective in honing in on her intended audience. She is a Portland Native with her finger on the pulse of what makes this city unique, and seems to never be sitting still when she can be out enjoying it, which has grown her the considerable local network invaluable to an events professional in PDX. We weathered the early days of the pandemic together, and I wouldn't have wanted anyone else by my side.

I have worked with Jennifer on several projects over the course of two years in Mongolia with the United States Peace Corps. During this time, Jennifer utilized her communication skills to not only engage her students effectively, but to build valuable connections in our community. She is quick to adjust to new surroundings and maintains a positive "can do" attitude even in the most difficult circumstances. Her language learning abilities set her apart from others to the point that Peace Corps placed her in a region that required her to learn Kazakh in addition to Mongolian. Jennifer's role as a Secondary School English Teacher was not limited to teaching students in a classroom setting but included instilling innovative teaching methods to her Mongolian counterparts at her school. Additionally, she pioneered a number of additional projects geared toward the community. In the spring of 2017, she worked to promote domestic abuse awareness for young professionals and university students through a series of seminars. She also worked with her students on a Peace Corps initiative called The World Map Project in which students put their creative skills to the test to paint a large scale map on a public wall. The project turned out beautifully. Jennifer is personable, hardworking and motivated. Those qualities, coupled with her experience abroad as a Peace Corps Volunteer, would be a valuable asset to have on any team.
