Jennifer's arrival as the Executive Director of the Downtown Orangeburg Revitalization Association (DORA) in 2013 was just what the organization needed. Her energy, enthusiasm, creativity and obvious commitment to the city and DORA produced immediate results. Jennifer was a thoughtful, gracious and insightful guide for the board as we initiated a number of important programs that had dramatic impact on the community. She spearheaded a complete market survey and comprehensive communications plan working with Main Street SC, the City, the County and other stakeholders. Her personal commitment and hard work helped make our first - and successful - Farmers Market downtown become a reality. Working closely with the Chamber of Commerce, she proved to be very adept at getting local civic organizations to collaborate to help DORA meet its goals. In addition to her many skills, she was easy to work with and her positive personality made volunteering with DORA fun - and productive.
