NMCOG is a regional planning agency providing professional planning services and technical assistance in the areas of transportation, economic development, land use, community development, permitting, housing, historic preservation, emergency management, conservation and open space preservation, GIS, municipal service delivery, sustainability, energy and environmental protection. The agency brings a regional and interregional perspective to all areas of planning and resource management by fostering cooperation between municipalities, and encouraging collaboration between the public and private sectors.
