From its inception, ART was designed to be a resource for all the Toastmasters in our District. ART featured an evaluation intensive format. All members have achieved at least the Competent Communicator award and must maintain active dual membership with a home club. As Area Governor in the 2014-5 year, I was the direct liaison between the District and five clubs--Richmond Toastmasters, West End Toastmasters, ToastMaxers, Prime Time Speakers, and Advanced Richmond Toastmasters. Our Area earned President's Distinguished status--one of only three Areas to do so in District 66. I facilitated the charter of two new clubs--Advanced Richmond Toastmasters and Feedmasters at Feedmore.
