While Director of Health Sciences at CCA, I used my excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, administrators, and community partners to grow programming. My primary responsibility was to grow Health Sciences at CCA. I was responsible for the creation of CCA's Patient Care Tech program and its innovative English Second Language Healthcare Bridge Program; I was instrumental in creating the models, curriculum, and in getting grant funding to fully support the start up of each of these programs. Additionally, I led the Integrated Nursing Pathway program and the partnership with University of Colorado College of Nursing. I facilitated and oversaw a dual advising model with college partners; oversaw budget for Health Sciences; maintained and grew enrollment and built marketing / promotion plans for programming. Maintained and grew the relationships with CU College of Nursing and other community and industry partners. Additionally, I served on the Instructional Leadership Team, attended Chair Committee, and Academic Forum meetings and served on a variety of community and industry partnerships, committees and boards to support the positive collaborative relationships of CCA Health Sciences in the broader Aurora community.
