Bio
Emily Willard
I met Jennifer in Guatemala in June 2018 during a trip outside of the city Quetzaltenango in Guatemala's western region. She offered to assist me with the transcription of Spanish-language interviews I had conducted with women genocide survivors who lived through Guatemala's internal armed conflict, specifically about their experiences during the 1980's through 2017. Jennifer was very professional and produced a high-quality transcript of the interview in Spanish with quick turnaround and minimal to no supervision. She showed initiative and follow-through, as well as being sensitive to the confidentiality of the interview. She is well-organized, clearly dedicated to human rights issues, and has a strong work ethic, and as such would be an asset to any organization. If given the opportunity I would work with Jennifer on other projects in the future.

As an Editorial Assistant at the Core Knowledge Foundation, Jennifer made a real contribution to the work we were doing. She handled even the most involved projects with aplomb and perseverance. Her attention to detail and careful analysis of our materials was superb. If a project was on a tight deadline, she always worked hard to ensure we hit it. With minimal supervision, she worked closely with one of our editors to guide the successful completion of a rather long and complex project. Jennifer is very professional and great to work with. She quickly developed good working relationships with her coworkers. Her demeanor is calm, and she is very thoughtful in her approach to people. Jennifer’s communication skills are excellent. She has a sincere interest in helping people, and is wonderful to work with.
