During Jennifer’s time in Piscataway Schools, she was an invaluable asset to the district, colleagues, and students. As her colleague, I was able to work closely with her in several ways where I was able to see her excellent leadership, communication, and problem solving skills. My work with Jennifer centered on our PBIS initiative (behavior program). Both of us served as Universal Team Leaders for this initiative. Our roles included leading staff trainings and meetings, planning student incentives, student and staff events, and analyzing school data to inform next steps. As a frequent collaborator, Jennifer is enthusiastic to be involved and take lead. For example, she planned our Student Kick-Off event, which included planning activities, coordinating with staff, building schedules, and running the event on the day of. This is just one example of Jennifer’s commitment and leadership. In addition to her work with the PBIS initiative, Jennifer had several other responsibilities in the district. Besides her responsibilities as a classroom teacher, Jennifer also coached both middle school soccer and basketball. These experiences allowed Jennifer to communicate with families and be involved in the greater community. This commitment to her students was then seen in her classroom. Jennifer commits to whatever it is that she is involved with, and makes sure that it is done to the best of her ability, and beyond. I highly recommend Jennifer for your company. She is not only a natural leader, but she is highly personable, kind, detail-oriented, and is able to make decisions in the best interests of the task at hand. In the educational setting she can plan, organize, and adapt; which is highly commendable and desirable in any field. She has my highest recommendation. Please feel free to contact me for any further information. Thank you very much for your time.

In my time supervising Jennifer, she was dedicated to her students both in their learning and growth as individuals. She worked diligently to increase her effectiveness as an educator. She had an enthusiasm to continue her learning and researched and implemented many strategies. Her openness to feedback and her willingness to collaborate with supervisors and colleagues was commendable. Many of these attributes are ones that will be useful across many fields.
